Candymag Article: 10 Things a Guy would NEVER tell you but WISHES you knew

I am a certified Candy girl since 3rd year high school.
I still remember that it was Gerald Anderson on the cover when I first bought it..
I got addicted at reading Candy mag. I learned many things from this magazine and whenever boredom attacks, I read it again and again. And I like to share this article. :)

1. A fancy restaurant won't automatically make the date special.

 Yeah right. AGREE. I think even a candlelit dinner on your rooftop, under the stars and moon, will be more kilig than a fancy dinner.

2. We hate long phone conversations - we always run out of the things to say.

 It's fine. We're here to save you. All you have to do is to listen. :)

3. Guys are sensitive. We get emotional, we get hurt and we cry.

 Of course! You're just humans. Many guys maybe jerk, but not ALL. We're totally aware of that. Don't worry. :)

4. We can usually tell when you like us. Sometimes, we just pretend to be dense.

 Why? Because you don't like us back? We're not expecting you to like us. All we need is your understanding. Hey! It's not our fault to like you when you 're totally likeable.

5. You have way too much make-up on!

Just keep in mind that we're spending extra effort to look pretty for you, but if you think it's TOO MUCH, please say it in a nice way.

6. We'll always be kids at heart. Don't expect us to grow up too soon.

 Sure. Just hold our hand and we'll grow together. :P

7. We wish you'd make the first move sometimes.

 Yeah right! Inviting you a stroll at the mall won't hurt us. You're REJECTION does! And we really FEAR that. >.<

8. We're allowed to find other girls pretty - it's usually nothing to be jealous over.

 Maybe. Just make sure that we are you're ONE AND ONLY.

9. But we don't like it when you talk about you're crushes in front of us. Yes, we know it's unfair.

 See how UNFAIR boys are??

10. You're Dad is scary!

GM I LOVE!

I met these people when I was in 3rd year college-1st sem.
Actually, I cant remember exactly what happened.
How Tropang Gm was formed.
Oh, before I go on, Tropang Gm is the name of our group. We are 12 girls and two boys.
I just remembered, it was during Law class, we were sitting next to each other, then a piece of paper just roam between the 14 of us with a note that says, "Your name and signature".
Clueless what was that for, we just signed.
And then we had our lunch together.
Then whenever it is Law class, different piece of paper with that note always written.
And then as time passes by, we stick to each other. We had lunch together, spent our breaks together, copy assignments together, and laugh hard together.


It was then one time of our breaks, we talked what to call our group. Joy suggested Ginisa Mix, because we are all in one. We laugh so hard because it was a name of a seasoning. We argue because we don't like it but we don't have an alternative name so we just let it be. We just laugh at it. That's how CRAZY our group are. :D
I am very proud of them. I am so blessed that I have them. i LOVE them with all my heart. :)
I can't find words to say how much I truly love them.

* My first guy friend whose really proud that he has a discount card in Sogo and negative pregnancy test. :P

* Despite of being addicted to THAT kind of thing, he's a trying to be a good boy now. :) If he's serious, he's really SERIOUS.

* Sometimes I kind'a irritated to him but he's a friend. A true solid GM.

* I am proud of him because he was able to pay for his study. From his own hardwork. He's the MOST HARDWORKING MANIAC PERSON I've ever known. :P

* He's a frustrated freestyler! Haha :P

* He's THE CRAZY PIONEER of GM. (Yeah. It was his crazy mind who thought of our group name.)

* He's a real dancer but I want to see him in real action. He has his own dance crew that joins into competitions.

* He's a GANGSTER! He starts gangstering when he was in 3rd year high school. He can also run as fast as Naruto. Haha :P I know were totally safe with him.

* He's family oriented. I like their tight relationship at home.

* He promised to lose his virginity at his wedding night. (Yeah right! Just make sure bhez!) He's the most conservative boy I've known.

* She's the most artistic in our group that brings her as an a scholar in her entire life in the university. She belongs to those persons who has an ARTISTIC LEFT HAND.

* She walks like a boy but she's really a girl at heart. :P

* Her curly locks is now straight.

* She just went through an operation but we're glad she's doing fine now. We love you and will always be at your side.

* I will never forget that she was the one who FIRST made a henna tattoo at my back using a paint brush. :P

* GIRL WITH AN EXCEPTIONAL VOICE (Peace out! xoxo)

* Addicted to K-pop. 'Nuff said.

* Their house in Antipolo is always open for us. :)

* She's really sensitive. There are times that she gets offended specially with our Law professor.

* I know that she have a hard time at home and her relationship with her mother is not that fine and I salute her for being strong.

* If Cecil has an extraordinary voice, she has a very very loud voice! My loud voice is no match for her. Hehe

* THE LATE QUEEN

* She danced pretty well. Not the kind of Judith's dance but a real one. :p

* I will never forget that she skipped my 18th birthday to go to somewhere else. :( The fact that I invited her 2 months ahead huh?! >:(

* I really find her cute but I HATE the way she walks! Haha

* She never tell stories about her love life. :P A very private person.

* Always laugh even in a smallest thing.

* HARDWORKING AND STUDIOUS. When she study, she really take it seriously.

* A good cook. But I want to taste her specialty. (Ohh Ate, spaghetti will be fine. :P)

* A very health conscious. When we were in 2nd year college, she always remind me to eat healthy foods because if I don't I will harvest it's bad effect when I grow old. Tsk Tsk

* She's the GIRL VERSION OF OUR CRAZY PIONEER. Whenever they are together, it surely lots of fun.

* She's willing to wait for her long time boyfriend whose a seaman. I really hope they are counted to the 40% statistics who has a successful long distance relationship. <3

* I really like her because she's as LAZY as me when it comes to our research! Hahahaha (Can't really forget that. :p)

* Whenever her craziness strikes, you will burst into laughter! :D She's like a naive girl who knows nothing.

* She can dance pretty well in the tune of fireflies. :) She looks like a dancing worm when she do that. Haha

* Survived a sickness and living her second life now.

* Her sister is a registered nurse so she knew right medicine to take in different kind of illness like flu and LBM. I always hear it to her. Hehe

* When she talks through the phone with his brother, I can't understand even a bit. So I just stare and stare. O.o

* She's very conservative, reserved and wholesome. A MARIA CLARA IN 2012.

* She study but not as studious as Ate Lhen and not as lazy as Judith. :)

* She has a very cute angel who is so vain even at a young age. :p

* A COOL MOM.

* Always excited to go home. Hehe She loves to cook. (Ate Pat, a taste of your chix to bite will do. SWEAR! :)) She loves to eat way too much. She always talks about food. I think all the restaurants in Metro Manila, she already tried it all. :p

* Knows a lot about life.

* I love the way she laugh. Haha She always laugh like there is no tomorrow. :D

* She really hates to walk. If she can ride a trike until our classroom, she will do it. No doubt.

* She complains about the SAME thing for about a HUNDRED times! Haaaayyyy.

* She acts like she was younger than me. Haha

* So so conservative. Matter of fact, she still keep her long time crush to us. Nakow. >___<

* OLD SCHOOL YOUNGSTER.

* Addicted to star, Vans and black eyeglasses. (I don't know what you call that thing.)

* ROCKSTAR CHICK.

* No matter how hard she deny back then to reconcile with her last boyfriend, I don't believe her. Look at her now, they are together again. :)

* Her liver is not that healthy because she drinks GSM like water . Haha Good thing she's a Tanduay Ice babe now.

* She has the smallest face in the family! Hahahaha

* She's my Mama Jo. I got an instant mom in the group. Hehe

* IN LOVE WITH HER BOYFRIEND. Wedding bells soon! Yipppeeeee! :) Excited to be a part of the entourage. :p (I know she'll kill me once she read this.) ;)

* Loves her family. Big time.

* When she says something, it came true! Swear! When she says our professor will be absent, it always came true. She's really lucky. :D

* Loves to watch local films and romantic movies. 

* I call her "dude".

* I stand as her conscience. Hahahahaha

* Who loves a skirt than a shorts. (I love shorts) Know why? Because of her extraordinary size of hips and upper legs. (Peace yah! <3) Awwww. Before I forget, she's always LATE. :P

* THE GIRL WHO DREAMS BIG

* The person who thinks everything. As in everything, including those in the future. She thought about a hundred times before she make a move. Which is a good thing. Ahm. Sometimes.

and me .. ahm.What can I say about myself? hehe

* I am the youngest in our group who likes a dancer more than a singer. The same as foreign songs than local. But I love PAROKYA NI EDGAR to death! :)

* An anime lover who will always be a kid at heart. 

* Addicted to all color BLUE! Short dresses and heels.:P But I also love caps and rubber shoes and other guy's stuff.

* Good girl. Enough said. Hahahahaha (Forgive me Gm,just this once. :P)

Seventeenth Summer

I love reading..
I can stay inside my room all day and read.
Be it a magazine or a novel.


And Seventeenth Summer is the recent book I've read after Twilight Saga's Breaking Dawn.
I finished reading this novel minutes before midnight.
Honestly, I didn't like much the ending. Well, maybe, I am not a fan of sad and hanging endings.
I always want a story to end in a positive note.
But I respect Maureen Daly in her choice of ending.


Actually, I had a hard time understanding it because it is so foreign. Specially the setting. Thanks to my creative imagination to visualize it in my head.
This is about a love story happened in summer. (I LOVE summer! Because it's the only time when I can have a henna tattoo. :P)
A love story between a boy who dates every girl and a girl who is so reserved.
They are so unlike but they both found love with each other .


I think that's the magic of love.
Two person in an opposite side attracts.
You will never know what kind of person your heart will beat for.

LOVE MONTH! :)

Yeah.

It's already February.

It seemed that New Year happened yesterday.

Days are approaching fast.

And this love month, it's all about spreading LOVE! :)


When February comes, the first thing that comes to our mind is love, heart, cupids and color red. Things that are connected to love. As I am on my way to school, I can see people decorating their establishment with hearts. This is the "Love Month" for couples and as they say, "Single Awareness Month" for those who are single. Haha (Yeah right. Including me) ;)

I'm a single lady here.

And I must say that I don't have a date on Valentine's Day and I don't mind.

I don't even care. I lived nineteen years of my life without a date on Valentine's day and I'm sure I can survive another February 14 alone.

Love month isn't just for those who has a boyfriend or girlfriend.
It's must be celebrated by everyone.
Single ladies can spend that day with their other friends who are single also.
They can have movie marathon at home, slumber party, chat 'till dawn and takes many pictures like what we are about to do this Valentine's Day with my other single girl friends.


Yeah I know, As I walk down the street that day, The persons I will see are those couples. Holding hands while walking, the girl holding a big teddy bear or chocolate, or flowers or all of the above. But the hell I care. I have my girl friends with me to celebrate that day with me. I am not actually alone because I have friends and my family with me.


For me, Love Month is spreading love for the people we cherish. Not just our significant one but our friends and most importantly, our family.
I don't care if I am single, besides, I'm not in a rush to find my partner. I know that time will come that I will be able to walk on the street holding hands that perfectly fits mine..
