It's been three years ..

According to wikipedia ..

A birthday is a day or anniversary when a person celebrates his or her date of birth.

Yeah right.
It's the celebration of another year of existence of a person.
It is usually celebrated with cakes, ice creams, and balloons, for kids.
And a drinking session for grown ups.
It is always celebrated by an individual.
I remember, when I was a kid, I always celebrated my birthday.
We always celebrate it extravagantly.
Until high school.
Well, I am the only girl so what do you expect?

But I am thinking ..
What about those persons who passed away?
Does they also have to celebrate their birthdays?
It's confusing me though.

Today is my mother's birthday.
She's should be 55 years old by now.
I don't know if I still need to count but ...
I don't know.

We came to her grave to brought her flowers.
Me together with my father, oldest brother and her girl, my two nephews and niece.
We prayed and then before we left, my nephews and niece greeted her "Happy Birthday."
Weird, I guess.

I just want to share my thoughts towards it.
And I just want to share my how much I love my mother. :)

  1. Happy Birthday to your mother...special people for us even though they are gone will still occupy a space in our hearts, and they will always be remembered...there's nothing weird on that, it's actually normal...smile ^_^
